Wise PLC
FY26: Still Compounding, But the Growth Story Is Evolving
By Financial Journalist: Alex Langton | 26 June 2026
Wise has delivered the sort of full-year numbers most London-listed growth companies would happily frame and hang in reception or spam social media with.
Active customers rose 21% to 18.9m. Cross-border volume increased 31% to $243.5bn. Net revenue was up 19% to $2.50bn. Income before tax came in at $660.4m, implying a chunky 26% margin. So, no, this is not a business running out of road.
But the more interesting point is not simply that Wise has grown again. It is how it is growing. The company is no longer just a cheaper and faster way to move money across borders. It is increasingly becoming an international account, payments and financial infrastructure platform.
